Nauticam Announces Housing for Sony a7S III
Nauticam has unveiled its housing for the new a7S III, Sony’s third-generation videocentric full-frame mirrorless camera. The camera can shoot up to 4K/120p, captures 10-bit 4:2:2 color depth internally, and can output 4K/60p 16-bit RAW video over HDMI.
Built around the N100 port system, like all Nauticam a7-series housings, the NA-A7SIII offers integrated handles, ergonomic control placement, dual right thumb lever for AF-On and RECORD, multidirectional pad mirroring that found on the camera, and the all-important M24 bulkhead to support HDMI 2.0, allowing you to hook up an Atomos Ninja V external recorder. Strobes can be triggered via fiber-optic cables or electrical sync cords.
Available now at retailers such as Backscatter, the NA-A7SIII costs $3,189.
