Canon Announces EOS M50 Mark II
Canon has unveiled the EOS M50 Mark II, which offers minor updates to its predecessor, the EOS M50, from 2018. The Mark II has the same 24MP APS-C sensor and Digic 8 processor, and most of the specs haven’t changed, including burst shooting up to 7.4fps with continuous AF, Full HD capture up to 120p, and 4K/24p with a large 1.5x crop.
The main changes are the updated Dual Pixel AF system (which now offers eye tracking in stills as well as video), the ability to capture vertical video, and wireless YouTube Live streaming capabilities.
Available in November, the EOS M50 Mark II is priced at $600 body-only, $700 as a kit with the 15–45mm f/3.5–6.3, and $930 with the 15–45mm and 55–200mm f/4.5–6.3.
