Who doesn’t love a good black and white photo? How about a black and white only digital camera? How about a black and white only digital camera with a fixed lens? Sounds great, right?
In this video, Matt Day reviews the Leica Q2 Monochrom, Leica’s newest black and white only digital camera. Mr. Day does a great job walking you through the pros and cons of having a camera that only shoots in black and white compared to any other camera which just has a black and white mode. I must admit that I didn’t quite realize just how much of the sensor’s abilities were hindered by the sensor’s design for shooting in color. It was a fascinating watch for me if for no other reason than the educational aspect.
